THINGS TO DO

Norway Point has a great beach and swimming area.  We have a paddle boat, canoes and kayaks for our guests to use.  Log swings make it easy to relax and enjoy the lake view or watch the kids play in the water.

Our weather features warm summer days, cool nights and cold winters!  Spring and fall temperatures run from 60's for highs and 30's for lows - a sweatshirt is ALWAYS a good thing to pack!  Check out the forecast at: Orr Weather

The Norway Point/Pelican Lake area has many attractions to offer for your family vacation. We commonly see loons, pelicans, eagles, osprey, ducks, geese and grouse. The area is also home to deer, bear, moose, otter, mink and beaver. 

Starting in September, upland game hunting is in its 
prime as ruffed grouse and woodcock season opens.  Northern Minnesota boasts of thousands of acres of 
public hunting land with miles of perfect trails for the 
novice or expert bird hunter.  Fall also offers some spectacular fishing days!  Nothing beats a warm fall 
day on Pelican Lake to enjoy the excellent fishing action while taking in the brilliant fall colors!

BOG WALK
At the Voyageurs National Park and Orr Area 
Information Center.  Open daily, year 'round.  The center offers 
the chance to walk through a bog without getting
